Just another... LDS Missionary"Feed My Sheep" 14 september Tartan JonnyOk well I haven't used this in a long time! I don't really use msn much anyways! But I said I would keep this open until this moment...
On the 27th september I am going to be leaving to Preston to the Missionary Training Centre for 19 days. Then I will be going off to serve as an LDS missionary in Scotland!!!

It is something I have wanted to do all my life. I will be living a rather strict existence that will be totally filled with service and preaching. Kind of like titheing my life. I have been so blessed and I am just giving others the chance to share in the blessings that they can recieve.
I'm going to miss all my family and friends. Thankyou for all you have ever done and I will be writing (not sure about email yet but probably will have that facility). Especially for all those who have supported me in times of need. You really have got to have the credit for who I am.
This is sounding a bit like a permanent farewell! I will be back in 24 months! Lastly is the subject of the closest person to me, my loving girlfriend Harriet. Real men are in touch with their feelings so i'm not afraid of sharing what I do. She is awesome. So perfect in every way and I have been lucky enough to truly get to know her. What will be will be and I will terribly miss her while she is getting on with her "normal" life. I have learnt what love is and i'm thankful for the the feelings! The memories I will always treasure and at the end of the day she is a fabtastic friend!

What a beautiful day, what a beautiful world and what beautiful people. Enjoy it. 07 mei Light my wayI just bought a music album! ...for people who don't know me its a very rare thing. Son of a policeman. I am a disgrace so iv actually bought one! Woo! Moby - Play ...classic album! (If im honest its because i couldn't download it!).
Just gone over my iPod again and deleted albums of artists i haven't listened to or that are obscene so iv now got down to...3350 songs = 13.32gb 9 days worth lol (deleted about 300 songs lol). That new battery I installed (mine is a 3G version) has been fab, over 10 hours battery life!!! (more than the original).
Isn't lost and 24 great! Im not a t.v person but they are so cool. Hehe im about 18 episodes into each series! Plus because my Broadband is now 4mb i can download at over 200/kbs :-)
Carrying on the technical theme...im getting my "mission" camera for my bday this week! Woo! A Black Fujifilm Z1...so sweet! Its really thin & light etc but big on features. It has an internal refraction zoom lens like a periscope!
On a slightly random note...I fancie learning latin...
Spent the past week suffering with a bad headache and some other afflictions (i'm a wimp!). Did work through it all so i may not be that wimpish...plus cycling in the sun was so fun!
Yep its now wet...was that it?..the summer gone already lol. Made the most of it though! Samedi matin épuisé au temple de Prestom avec ma petite amie et son famille adorable. Il était fantastique! (yes i cheated and used babel fish for that!). Then H and I went to the Manifold valley to do my geog cwk field expo! Twas fun at times except for the bits where we both almost died! Oh and on the way back almost running our of petrol lol (that car can do 350+ miles to a tank lol). She is totally awesome in every way, everything I could ever want and so much more. Bliss...
One bad thing abous saturday...midge bites! one on my arm and loads on my scalp!!! Why do they like my blood...O Rhesus positive must be there favourite tipple i guess!
Few good films coming out this month too...MI3...Pirates of the Carribean 2 and The Da Vinci Code. The latter will probably brew up some more controversy. If people want a true thriller read the Bible or even better the Book of Mormon...best of all there both relating to our times, prophesying of these, the latter days. And on that note im off to relax and study. Keep revising all you with exams, but most of all keep loving!!! x
23 april Missionary Time!Woo! I thought this day would never come! The train is finally just about to leave the station!

Just gotta delay the excitement for another month then i can let it all out. Just thought id do a quick update.
Cyprus is rather good, gave me a bit more colour and a nice relaxing but culturally enriching time. Saw H 4 days in a row after i got back!!! 3 of those days were full days too! Seeing Wightwick Manor and also Keddleston Hall. Played a bit of football, ok well i can't really play football as some would call it but it was fun trying! Its just so great to spend time with her, even if we have had our disagreements at times. Iv never wanted to make someone else so happy and spend quite so much time with someone before! She is such a joy!

It really was wet cycling from work today, might aswell have jumped in a pool with how wet my underwear was!
 .Oh well the 2.5k i saved from not buying a car/insurance and just nicking my moms all the time im sure will come in handy when it comes to tuition fee's...dam you Mr Blair! Anyone fancie doing a coup or ousting this silly government while im away please?
Few small life updates...
Had my hair cut again to missionary spec for my piccie, had all my dental examinations and the last part is my doctors medical on tuesday (im gonna have been overdoes on radiation with all these xrays!). Then its just a final few notes from my Bishop/Stake President and then they can be sent off! Woo! Im so excited! Iv desired for this all my life and its finally just around the corner...ok well june 26th lol.
Work is really good again, on tuesday im gonna get paid close to 2k for last month
 . Anyone fancie doing a bit of shopping lol. Im way too sensible...gonna invest it all!!! This month is shaping to be just as good too! (And harriet im not money obsessd! Its so your dad can have a new carpet  ). Im now an assistant manager too. yippy! My TM is on permanaent 12-8s so in the monrings im in charge. Been trained up with all the various duties which is rather cool. Im a born leader...knew that pscyhology a level would come in handy one day! .Can't wait till Easter...Cyrpus!
Time to go and spend another weekend with my companion

28 februari Woo fun!So 11 days later...flip that went really quick! Iv got my life back into some state of organization after a smattering of disaray!
Saw plenty of Harriet which is always gooooood
(and our usual latenight convos on msn when im not seeing her lol)! Walking with her parents in the peak district...eating her moms amazing food and deserts! Had a missionary spec haircut too (more about that in a bit).  Ermm what else, well this month was the first of my new "flexi-shifts" at work meaning that nearly every day is different shifts (we do know what we work a month in advance). I actually strangely like them. And because they weren't working perfectly they needed people in for overtime...double pay...so i did over 12 hours in less than 3 weeks
 . Meant that with my bonus i will have earnt £1850 in a month when i spent 3 days away in the lake district. Sorry if i sound a bit like im bragging, im just really proud of what iv achieved as my first job (saying that iv been there almost 7 months).Last wedneday i went into school (very odd going back there) and saw my old Geog teacher...and after a long man chat about life/sport and general catching up (he advised me to go to leeds uni...maybe harriet bribed him
hehe)... iv started work on redoing my a level geog cwk...im gonna do a physical investigation this time and its on the amazing topic of slope profiling and soil analysis. Fun! More info to come...Spent 3 days last week with my bro and his family (1>I love Esthers cooking!...I sound food obsessed lol 2>My two nephews are just the best in the world, but then i am biased!). Me and luke went to the lake district to bag us some wainrights. Sadly it didn't go to plan weather wise and we kinda got to the top of the ridge to find that their was lots of snow and a whiteout so after doing 2/3 we had to come back down (we had done the hard thing, all we had to do once at the top was walk the Scafell Massive and bag another few but ice is dangerous lol...wow im being sensible lol). Hardest walk of my life! But fun...Pics are on my blog under Eskdale. Found a nice b&b to stop the night in (weather wasn't good enough to bothy or camp and the ysa was privately booked!). Cycling in Wrexam was called off to cause of ice! Had a class time though.
Sorry iv talked way too much i know. Got some other pics on here of my first "date" with Harriet hehe, where we did some walking around dovedale (i do things a bit differently lol). Also pics of a little trip me/dad/luke did to snowdonia in nov.
Also pics of a visit i did to Chorley Temple. Its a very sacred building in my religion where we carry out sacred ordinances. Such a Beautfiul and peaceful place indeed. Talking about religion... (which il admit i don't often do, however you may notice that i never mention me drinking or any escapades i have with women...namely cause i don't do either!)
I have now got my mission papers to fill in. Most of my friends know that with i planned on going travelling and doing missiaonary/religious work. Basically im devoting 2 years of my life to working for my Church as a missionary (preaching the Gospel of Christ to those around the world). Gotta have a full medical, then send them off, then i will recieve them back telling me where im going to serve in the world
. Very exciting time in my life. Thats why iv been saving all my money up (you pay around £6000 to be self sufficient for the 2 years, the Church then supports you and helps to organize everything for you). When i return thats when i will then go to university as a mature student. I will probably put more info on in the next 4 months about my preperations but if there is anyone interested in knowing a bit more then heres where you can look...Official Church site for people wanting to know who/what/why etc

On thursday im going down to london with Homeserve Company directors for the annual Sunday Time top 100 companies awards cermeony, i was selected after being put forward for the work i do, fun hehe. Stop the night in some fancie hotel in london and come back next morn. Means i get two paid days off work effectively hehe. But it did wreck the plans i had to see Harriet ...sowwy!  . Will see plenty of you on the rest of the days instead .Time for some swimming after the curry/ice cream iv just ate  . Bye bye people x Love you all!!! x17 februari Well...Its been some time, got fed up of the whole blog thing for a bit but may put on some random things. So life. Interesting thing, especially with 4 months to play about with. Well some good and bad things happened. Mainly good though. Best thing is probably the ace person iv been spending rather a lot of time with as of late. I was worrying for a bit that i would be single on Valentines day but luckily it wasn't to be . She really is fab...Harriet you rock! Anyways less about me. How is everyone else, you all still alive?16 oktober You could have it so much better...Sniff...

Mainly induced through a day out at alton towers yesterday though
. in the end there were just 7 of us from work (the rest were either ill or busy!). Rita is the one of the most amazing things i have ever done. Its sensational! 2 hours 15 mins queueing was worth it for a front seat on one of the fastest launch coasters in the world. I can now say iv been to 60 faster than an F1 car. The day probably would've been more fun if i would've got more than 5 hours of sleep the night before getting up at 7 to drive there lol. This week was my first full week of late shifts. If you forget to take some method of amusing yourself then you probably will collapse put of boredom. Leaving the house at 11 and getting back at 8:30pm messes food times about so i think iv dropped to a size 10
.Seen and done plenty of things over the past two weeks to help get myself back on track. One cool thing at work was a mini themed week culminating in them giving away (for a month at a time) a new mini cooper to the top sales employee each month. I so want that mini! Did get to meet Ashley giles on the wednesday (he signed my ball!), thurs was an italian themed dress day and then the friday we got to watch italian job too! (iv got a massive 50" plasma on the wall behind my desk
).One thing however i have got myself hooked on too much is lost. I can't wait for the next episodes so iv been downloading them, Woo! Its so fab that program is, and the second series is underway in the U.S too! Im also half way through the latest HP book! I want to be a wizard
 . Once that is finished it will be back into more of my textbooks for my 2 exams iv got in late january. Time to ace those a levels once and for all.Been cool to see people i know off to uni, not fair! I really can't wait to go now and study a subject i love. Will have to just keep reading my a level p.e textbook in preperation lol. Anyways im off to watch another two episodes of lost i downloaded hehe, while drinking some hot chocolate and then time to wrap up in my duvet to read some more hp. How funky does my life sound. Just want to thank all my friends out there too who have said kind words to me and listened to me...sorry i meant endure me . You lot rock! Now you all have a good week out there too. Oh and week after next, my peeps are away for the week, I see some plans starting to materialise. Any suggestions... (im working 9-5 in the week but iv got the car! Plus wednesday is my day off (in lieu of saturday). Adieu! x04 oktober The rollercoaster continues...Well iv had some groovy times since i posted this. Been to some cool places and met some cool people.
The hair is regrowing for now lol. Iv got my first full pay packet and found out more about commission. Worked a 6 day week too which was a killer (got double pay for my overtime day tho!).
Spend most of my spare time reading, seeing sarah/mates and also going swimming (did a cool 1000m last night which was fun).
Today i finally finsihed my first ever proper novel by fredrick forsyth. It was really ace. Another book was closed in my life and that was that of my relationship with sarah. She decided that it was best to end things while it was going good, thinking it would be a lot harder 6 months down the line when it came to me going away for 2 years. I fully understand her decision and i think its just my fault for letting my emotions get the better of me. Iv been heartbroken before after a breakup but i think being on the recieiving end (kinda-plus it being out of the blue) makes it so much harder.
Anyways learn from life and move on. Just at the moment on one the low of a rolercoaster and feeling rather ill and mixed up.
Talking about rollercoasters im going away to alton towers in 10 days with workmates so maybe that will cheer me up. Just hope i can get back into singleton fine and stay there. Time to lock my emotions away.

. Few things have happened so i may aswell put them on. Got my first pay packet for the 2 weeks in august which was rather nice. Spent some of that on my new psp which is also rather nice. Get plenty of use out of it on my 20 minute comute to work and back each day. For the money and all the things it does its rather amazing really. I mean i woke up one morning round sarahs, got it out (the psp that is) and went on the internet with it wirelessly to check the weather for the day (ok well it seems cool to me
). Also the film/pic quality is amazing (plus it plays games lol).Now been working for a week for proper earning my commission and finding my feet. All the people I trained with are gonna stick with me in a new team that happens tomorrow, so cool! Odd thing was that on friday when we were told about it all by our new team manager, I kinda dreamt about exactly the situation and what was said like a few days previous, mega deja vu!
Hmm what else have I done. Went to blenheim palace a while back which was groovy. Spent most weekends with Sarah having some fab times. Also played footie with mates which is always good. Gym'd it (plenty of swimming). Been eating two apples a day at work (they give us free fruit lol). Went to my nephews blessing. And the most recent thing...had a hair cut hehe.
